Help shape Girlguiding's technology

Sign up to the insight and innovation pool by 18 April

Your voice can help shape the future of Girlguiding’s technology.

We’re looking to gather a small group of volunteers, girls and their parents or carers to help us review, develop and improve our technology – things like the websites and online systems you use as part of everyday guiding.  This group will be a key resource for us to listen to, dream big with, test, design and learn from.

Why should you apply?

  • You’ll be able to make your voice heard on a variety of topics linked to Girlguiding’s technologies.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to work with a range of teams from across Girlguiding.
  • You’ll be part of long-term work improving Girlguiding’s technology, which will have a positive impact for years to come.

Who should apply?

Any girl, parent or volunteer who is excited about sharing their opinion on Girlguiding’s technologies.

Please note, this group will also include members of Girlguiding staff, a number of whom will be DBS and safeguarding trained.

The membership of the group is likely to change over time, depending on what is being discussed or worked on.

What's the time commitment?

We ask that you’ll be able to commit to:

  • Around 4-6 hours per month, which will include pre-reading, meetings and any follow-up actions.
  • Monthly online meetings will last approximately 90 minutes.
  • Hours may increase at certain points during the project.
  • We'll review membership on a yearly basis.

How to apply

We’ll be inviting members of the insight pool to be a part of this group. If you’d like the opportunity to take part, make sure you’re registered with the insight and innovation pool by 18 April.
