Young people can develop key skills by volunteering for Girlguiding

Develop your leadership skills, build an impressive CV and have loads of fun.

Flexible and hands-on volunteer opportunities are available for ages 10 and over– check out how you can get involved below. 

Young leader

Level up your leadership skills and help inspire younger girls by becoming a young leader (for ages 14-17)

Young external volunteer

Volunteer for your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or other external award as a young external volunteer (for ages 13-17)

Peer education

We train young members to lead fun, interactive sessions on important topics, like mental wellbeing and body confidence

Rainbow or Brownie helper

Rainbow or Brownie helpers are Guides aged 10-14 who also help at a Rainbow or Brownie unit
