Payroll giving and other ways to donate

Find out about other ways you can donate to Girlguiding

There are lots of easy ways you can donate to Girlguiding and invest in girls.

From donating directly through your salary to shopping online, find the way that’s right for you.

Payroll

Support us through your salary with payroll giving

Payroll giving is a way of donating to charities tax-free directly through your salary. It’s an easy and tax-efficient way to support Girlguiding.

Donations are taken from an employee’s monthly salary after national insurance, but before tax. For example, that means a donation of £5 a month would only cost an employee £4 from their take-home pay if they pay 20% tax, or £3 if they pay 40% tax.

Anyone can set it up, as long as your employer offers the scheme. You can speak to your payroll or HR department to find out if they offer payroll giving in your workplace.
