Learn how to identify decision makers and gain the skills to influence them on the issues you care about. Stage 2 is recommended for Rainbows and Brownies.

Mirror me - Knowing what to say to someone is all well and good. But knowing how to sound and look engaged is just as important. See how engaged you can be!
Character mix-up - Some things make people sad, and some make people happy. Figure out why, and see if you can change a story…
A good match - Doing nice things for people helps build relationships. Make someone feel special and get help along the way.
Top role model - Who’s more inspirational than you? Nobody! Spread positive messages by becoming a role model and tell people why what you care about is important.
Spread the word - Got a message you want everyone to hear? How can you make sure lots of people listen? Spread the word and have a big impact!

There are 12 skills builders to work towards with your unit. Each skills builder has 6 stages to complete during your time at Girlguiding, from Rainbows to Rangers. You’ll get a badge for every stage you complete. To complete stages 1-5, your unit will do 4 out 5 fun activities.
