Join us this season as an Activity Instructor at one of Girlguiding’s Activity Centres!
Our Activity Instructors are at the core of our centres, providing effective leadership and instruction to a variety of groups in fun and exciting sessions! These sessions provide a hands-on experience, organised and delivered by our instructors in a range of activities; from canoeing and kayaking to rock climbing and zip wire!
Not only will you be leading exciting and adventure-filled sessions, we also offer our instructors an opportunity to develop their own skills and knowledge by providing an extensive training programme, giving you the opportunity to complete industry recognised qualifications!
Our instructors are passionate, both about the outdoor sector and working for Girlguiding. They represent the public face of Girlguiding, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a manner which promotes and enhances the organisation’s safeguarding policies, images and reputation, ultimately ensuring that participants have a safe and enjoyable experience with us so that they want to visit again.
Girlguiding values the differences that a diverse workforce brings and is committed to inclusivity, and to employing and supporting a diverse workforce. Girlguiding is proud to be part of the Stonewall Diversity Champions programme, a member of the Business Disability Forum, and a member of Time to Change – improving attitudes towards mental health. While Girlguiding’s young members may be girl only, our staff team is mixed gender. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability (physical or mental), gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
