The make change skills builder will show you how to identify issues in your local community and help you take action to change things for the better. Stage 6 is recommended for Rangers.
Here's a taste of the activities you can look forward to trying at this stage. Ask your leader about all the things you'll need to do to earn this badge.
Get to the root of the issue - How much change have you made? Now that you’ve taken action on an issue, discover its hidden causes and see what impact you’ve had.
International impact - Think you can only take action on issues close to home? Think again! Investigate ways to make an impact on an international issue you care about.
Go with the flow - So you’ve got an idea for a change, and think you know how to make it happen – great! But is your plan airtight? Send your ideas down a flowchart with a difference and find out.
Give time, make change - What’s the most valuable thing you have to give? Your time and energy! Volunteer your time to support a cause you care about, and discover the impact you can make.
Share the load - Discover how dividing up jobs can help lighten everyone’s load and allow you to use your unique skills and experience when you’re making change happen.

There are 12 skills builders to work towards with your unit. Each skills builder has 6 stages to complete during your time at Girlguiding, from Rainbows to Rangers. You’ll get a badge for every stage you complete. To complete stage 6, your unit will do 5 fun activities.
