Make change stage 5
Take action
Want to make a difference?
The make change skills builder will show you how to identify issues in your local community and help you take action to change things for the better. Stage 5 is recommended for Guides and Rangers.
Here's a taste of the activities you can look forward to trying at this stage. Ask your leader about all the things you'll need to do to earn this badge.
Areas of influence - What can you control? Understanding how much influence you have in different situations is vital if you’re going to make a big change-making impact. Try this activity to see how much of a splash you can make!
Mini manifesto - Do good things really come in small packages? Investigate the issues that matter most to you and bring together your ideas to make a tiny change-making declaration.
Campaign code-breakers - Put your planning skills to the test in this quick but deceptively difficult challenge.
Be zine, be heard! - There are so many ways to get your voice heard and tell people about the changes you want to see. Have a go at creating a zine, and discover the change-making potential in a pen and paper.
Pack it in - A small gesture of kindness can make a big difference to someone. Now’s your chance to design and make a special pack to show your support to others.
