Who makes decisions? How do you get your voice heard?
Learn how to identify decision makers and gain the skills to influence them on the issues you care about. Stage 1 is recommended for Rainbows.
Here's a taste of the activities you can look forward to trying at this stage. Ask your leader about all the things you'll need to do to earn this badge.
Who else will help? - Know who helps people, let them know why they’re doing a good thing and encourage them to do more.
Care and share - Do you think everyone cares about the same thing? Know what you care about and tell people why they should too.
Swings or roundabouts - Practise talking to somebody about your opinion and listen to what they say.
Dive and decide - Always wanted to try out karate or den making? Share your ideas and decide what to do in your unit meetings.
Fact finding - Bananas are the best fruit. Is this a fact? Go on a fact-finding hunt and know what is or isn’t a fact.
