Here's a taste of the activities you can look forward to trying at this stage. Ask your leader about all the things you'll need to do to earn this badge.

Communication situations - Ever taken a text message the wrong way, or had a birthday card go missing in the post? Explore what can go wrong when we communicate and think about the best way to talk to each other.

Share your skills - Do you want to become a brilliant public speaker? Get and share some top tips to give yourself and others the confidence to stand up in front of a crowd.

That's not good enough - Have you ever had a conversation where the other person won’t accept your answer? This activity will show you how to work your way out of difficult chats…

Without words - Do you really need words to communicate? Explore how your body language and the way you say things can be just as powerful as your words!

Is it really raining cats and dogs? - ‘She’s barking up the wrong tree.’ ‘The ball’s in your court.’ People use phrases like these all the time. But some can be difficult to understand. How can you make how you speak more inclusive?
