About the role
Environment is a key focus area for Girlguiding in 2024, because girls have told us it’s important to them. The lead volunteer for environmental sustainability will lead the way on addressing our environmental impact.

What will I be doing?
As part of this role, you’ll make sure everyone at Girlguiding can develop their understanding of how to deliver guiding in the most sustainable ways. You will help create and share the resources and tools people need to put this into practice.
Your knowledge will support some of the ongoing transformation projects and programmes that are vital for reducing our impact on the environment.
You’ll be liaising across countries and regions, and working closely with Girlguiding’s Sustainability Manager.
The role will also involve being a member of our Environmental Sustainability Project Board.

The role will be for 3 years starting from June or July 2024, with a possible extension of up to 2 additional years.
