Explore our range of training options to learn all about delivering the Girlguiding programme
Get to grips with core elements of our new programme
We want you to feel confident about delivering the new programme. So our national learning and development volunteers have created a range of training opportunities that will tell you all you need to know. They cover themes, awards, interest badges, skills builders and more.
The training is designed to be flexible so that it fits into your busy guiding lives. There are a range of modules for you to choose from. You don’t need to do all these modules - instead you can pick and mix the ones that best suit your needs.
We're launching Bronze and Silver Section awards for programme in January 2020. As a result, we’re in the process of updating all programme training for this date.
Choose your training
You can choose whether you do the modules online in our new e-learning, or go to in-person training sessions with our experienced trainers. We also have a calendar of webinars so you can learn about the programme in real time with a Girlguiding trainer, and ask questions from the comfort of your own home. You could even do a combination of them all. The choice is yours.
- In-person - To attend an in-person training session find out what your area has scheduled as you normally would.
- Webinar - To attend a webinar, which is a live event online, check out the schedule in your events pages on GO. Webinars are booked on a first come, first served basis so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.
- e-learning - To access the programme e-learning, select the relevant module links below.
Ready to get going with our new programme training? Choose your modules below. Each module is available as in-person training, a webinar on GO and as e-learning, meaning you're free to choose which topics you explore and how you access them. You can do the e-learning modules in any order, but we suggest you do the Programme overview first.
