Our future strategy – help girls have their say
Our young members can help shape the future of guiding
It’s time to tell us what you think
In 2018 we started work on a new Girlguiding strategy. And as we shape a plan for the future of Girlguiding we want to hear what you have to say – from volunteers, the girls in your unit and parents too.
Over the next few months, we’ll be gathering feedback in several ways. There’ll be an online strategy survey for volunteers and parents to tell us their thoughts, and a new set of unit meeting activities for girls to explore what they think.
These were limited-time activities that closed on 31 March 2019
Help girls have their say
We want to hear from as many Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers as possible, so they can feed into our plan and help shape the future of Girlguiding.
These free, special-edition unit meeting activities are the perfect way to get your units thinking about what makes guiding great. And they all count towards the Know Myself theme award from the new programme. So why not give them a whirl and let us know what your girls have to say.
When you’ve run the activity with your unit, you’ll need to capture what girls say so you can send back their views to the strategy team.
You can do this by taking photos of the final activity you create together and uploading them, along with other notes you record, in the activity feedback survey.
If you run multiple units, please fill out the activity feedback survey for each unit.
The deadline for all feedback is 31 March 2019, so make sure you plan these activities in before the end of March to give yourself time.
These activities have now closed. Thank you to all units who took part.
