We’re proud to work with Google, helping to inspire the next generation of girls in STEM and empower future female leaders in tech and engineering.
Nearly 50% of girls aged 11-21 years old, say they believe more girls than boys drop Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects, because girls feel uncomfortable being 1 of or the only girl in the class doing these subjects.
That’s why together with Google, we’re supporting girls to break down barriers in technology. And providing them with the skills, confidence and opportunities to thrive in the digital world safely.
Have you seen our co-created digital discovery series of activities? They give girls from all sections the opportunity to learn new skills. Whether they’re exploring tech through coding, debugging and finding out how chatbots and algorithms work. Or, learning how to be safer online. With our newest set of UMAs, they can even learn more about cybersecurity.
There’s plenty of STEM and related awareness days, weeks and months throughout 2026. These activities would be a perfect way to celebrate them! Although you can complete them whenever is suited to your unit, take a look below for some key dates.
