Help using the volunteer recruitment tool

Just before you get in touch, here are a few known bugs our team is working hard to fix.

Known bugs or issues

For now, we'd recommend using the tool on larger screens like desktop, laptop or tablet, like you would use for accessing GO.

1. After publishing or amending an opportunity, the updated opportunity does not show immediately in the Manage Opportunities list. Please refresh the page about 2 minutes after publishing or updating for the opportunity to appear.
2. When creating an opportunity in the volunteer recruitment tool using a postcode from Girlguiding British Overseas Territories, the system shows an error and does not allow creation. Please note: enquirers can still submit an expression of interest by clicking 'Register to volunteer' on the 'Can't find what you're looking for' card on every results page.
3. On the Manage Opportunities page for volunteer recruiters, when you try to filter by Date published or Last Updated using options such as Contains, Equals, or Any of, the results may not display correctly. Also, if you try to filter opportunities with the status Unpublished, no records will appear even though they exist. Please be aware that filters may not behave as expected for these fields.
4. There is an issue when copying and pasting text into the opportunity overview and description boxes. In the overview box, please try to paste the text in twice, as this can sometimes be a workaround. Otherwise, please manually input the text until we've resolved this issue.
