Thank you to Postcode Lottery players.

Since 2014, funding from Postcode Lottery players has enabled us to do more for girls and young women across the UK.

This includes:

• Listening to girls and promoting their voice with things like our Girls' Attitudes Survey and youth panels Amplify and advocates.
• Improving the quality of our activities, including badges.
• Building partnership with other organisations.
• Grow our income and better influence decision makers.

This funding from Postcode Lottery players means we can take our work into more communities, offering adventure and empowerment to the girls and young women who need us most.

Over 10 years of support

In the last 10 years, Postcode Lottery players have raised more than £15 million for Girlguiding and over £1.3 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes.

We want to say a massive thank you to players of the Postcode Lottery for their support. Funding awarded through Postcode Children’s Trust means we can be there for girls to deliver our award-winning programme, improve guiding for the future and support girls to campaign for change.  

To celebrate 10 years of player funding, 1^st Kirliston Rainbows were joined by staff from Girlguiding and Postcode Lottery in Edinburgh to say thank you for their support. They were also joined by our ambassador and Scottish Influencer of the Year, Laura Young (Less Waste Laura) who helped the Rainbows make environmentally friendly ‘thank you’ cards (which counted towards their recycling badge).

We celebrated in style with party games, welcome songs, a birthday cake, and of course, a giant thank you badge!

Postcode Lottery players are supporting Girlguiding and its mission to empower girls across the UK. By offering a safe space for girls to learn, explore and have fun, Girlguiding helps its members build confidence, realise their potential and make a positive difference in their communities.
