Girls experience the thrill of doing something for the first time with Girlguiding and go home full of stories of adventure. After taking on a half marathon, so will you! And, by fundraising for Girlguiding, you’ll also be making a real difference in girls’ lives and helping girls know they can do anything.
How much does it cost?
You’ll be asked to pay a registration fee to secure your place at the event. These vary depending on the event you’re signing up to.
What’s the fundraising target?
All half marathon runners are asked to aim for a fundraising minimum of £350.
How will you support me?
When you join team Girlguiding, we’ll be with you every step of the way. We’ll send you a supporter pack, sports top and some tailored emails to help you reach your target.

Who are Run for Charity?
Run for Charity works with thousands of UK charities and over 800 event organisers. They provide a platform that offers and fills places in hundreds of challenge events for charities and fundraisers. With no hidden fees or huge costs.
As charity members, Girlguiding can offer our supporters access to hundreds of challenge events to fundraise for us.
Run for Charity only shares data with the charity a supporter has signed up to an event for. They don't sell your data or send you newsletters. But they'll contact you about the registration process.
