As a member of Girlguiding, you’re also part of the largest women’s organisation in the world – the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
This means that as well as adventure, challenge and personal development in the UK, our offer for young women also includes opportunities to travel overseas. And take part in guiding activities with women from across the world.
What you can do
Age: Between 18 to 30 when the role starts (1 January 2019).
Apply for the role of volunteer lead and become the first point of contact for all our exciting GOLD projects. You’ll support each team of participants to deliver great guiding development projects.
Deadline: 26 October 2018. Interviews are scheduled for Saturday 8 December.

Take part or volunteer at an international event overseas
See the world while supporting young people to have an interntional adventure and meet guiding and scouting members from all over the world. Roles include communications and unit support for events such as Roverway, Moot and Jamboree.
Volunteer at an international event in the UK
Be part of a service team at an international event, camp or jamboree in the UK. Your role could be running activities, working in medical centres, catering or something else.
Experience global guiding at a World Centre
WAGGGS' World Centres stretch from London and Switzerland to Mexico, India and Africa. Whether you attend an event, volunteer at a centre, or just want to visit, time at any of the World Centres is an unforgettable international guiding experience.
Represent Girlguiding at an international level
