I enjoy every part of Brownies
Cheyenne tells us about her favourite things she does with her unit - in and out of the meeting place
I enjoy making friends and making stuff. I enjoy every part of Brownies.
Brownies help other people concentrate, they help people learn, they help people have fun and it’s also really enjoyable and we can go on lots of trips. I enjoy making friends and making stuff. I enjoy every part of Brownies.
I like making friends
My favourite thing is being the sixer and I like making friends. I love everything they do. I’ve met my friend Tiana, I’ve met Tamara, I’ve met Phoebe, I’ve met Jasmine, I’ve Lujan, I’ve met… there’s two Chloe’s.
My first trip
When I was on my first trip, we had a sleepover and we had marshmallows and biscuits, and a campfire. We explored the forest. We had group games. We had tasks to do. The first task we did was we had to go in the woods and find stuff so we could make a scene and whoever had the best scene, won.
We're going on a stargazing trip soon. So I’m looking forward to that.
My favourite thing about my Leader
Our Leader helps us. Like when we were making owls at St George’s, she helped us cut out, she made us templates, and when we were having our Harry Potter evening, we got loads of word searches, we got to draw a dragon and they helped us by painting the gold paint onto it.
They help you all the time whenever you need. My favourite thing about my Leader - well there’s lots of Leaders - but my favourite thing about my Leader is whenever you’re feeling sad or down, she looks after you.
Being a Brownie is an adventurous journey that girls aged seven to ten take with their friends.
