Girls respond to the return of page three in today's edition of The Sun

The advocate panel said:

As young women, we want to know that our media reflects and respects us. We were proud supporters of the No More Page 3 campaign, so imagine our dismay at seeing today’s edition of The Sun. Back in 2015, we were really pleased when the paper finally listened to thousands of people and dropped its usage of nude models on Page 3.

We are disappointed that today, The Sun has shown again that it would rather treat women as objects than uphold its status as a family newspaper. Three years on from No More Page 3, have the thousands of girls and young women like us who campaigned to stop this practise simply been forgotten?
