Zipwires are high ropes structures where girls travel down along a rope or wire.
To take girls on a zipwire, you will need to find a reputable local provider.

Safety notes
You can verify the quality of a provider by checking it has one of the following endorsements: AALA, Adventuremark or LotC Quality Badge for Adventure. These endorsements are not applicable in Northern Ireland, where you should ask your local Outdoor Activities Adviser to recommend an approved provider.
Instructors must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Mountain Training UK (MTUK) Single Pitch Award (SPA) or higher, with training and familiarisation for the activity
- High-ropes-specific training and assessment run or moderated by an MIA (Mountain Instructor Award) holder
- European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) Instructor or higher.
