Get started with creative scrapbooking
Preserve magical memories while also having fun.
- Use a binder instead of a book. Then you can rearrange the pages as you like. You might want to use the style the same throughout your scrapbook.
- Think about sections that you want to include, such as history, parties, camps and so on. Make a cover page for each section. Plastic sleeves will help protect the items you stick on.
- Cropping your photos will get rid of unnecessary background and leave room for more. Use a glue stick rather than PVA to attach them – this way the paper won’t wrinkle when it dries.
- Write or type text onto separate pieces of paper or card and stick it onto the page. You can illustrate or print out fancy letters to use.
With arts and crafts activities, watch girls at all times to make sure they are using scissors, glue and other items safely.
