Even with the 4am start, Adele Roberts is in no doubt that she has the best job in the world: the presenter of Radio 1’s Early Breakfast Show only wishes she could go back and show her teenage self what she’s doing now… Adele grew up listening to Pete Tong’s Essential Mixes on Radio 1 whilst daydreaming about being a DJ. Now she’s fronting their Early Breakfast Show. The start of 2019 saw Adele taking on the challenge of eating insects for Radio 1’s BBC iPlayer documentary ’Grub’s Up’.

Born in England, raised in South Africa, 25 year old Caspar Lee is a best known for his popular YouTube channel featuring interviews, pranks and musings from his life. Now based in London, the internet sensation is one of the top international digital stars with more than 9.5 million subscribers on YouTube, with collaborations with some of the world’s biggest stars such as Ed Sheeran, Dwayne Johnson, Chris Pratt, Kevin Hart and Channing Tatum.

He laughs out loud when  asked about the  Professional  Sadboy nickname that his sister bestowed upon him. It’s a cheeky if appropriate moniker for a man who explores the thrill of romance, the pain of heartache and everything in-between.“That’s the goal: to have real songs, but also to have a lot of fun with them.”

Empowering, unique and fun – not to mention talented – the four girls, Caroline Alvares, Yasmin Broom, Lauren Rammell and Sophia Saffarian, are doing something that is a step a way from the usual pop sphere. The first all girl band to be signed to Virgin since the Spice Girls, the four bring vibrant positivity and a modern agenda of woke-ness to their music.

Flash forward to the present day and her hits Tears, So Good and Best Behaviour have all gone Gold. In 2018 Louisa released Yes a pulsing beat featuring Hip Hop superstar 2 Chainz as well as collaborating on other great records. Louisa has successfully made the transition from a young girl winning a TV show to becoming a credible artist. And this is just the first step, Louisa has no intention of stopping.

The ultimate young popstar and The Voice UK finalist Donel Mangena, who won the nations hearts with his incredible performances, unleashed his debut single ‘Bang Like A Drum’ via Polydor Records last year. Co-written by Donel and featuring up-and-coming London rapper Swarmz, the track is a afro-swing leaning pop smash, bringing pure vibes and fun! With his coach and mentor, multi-platinum music producer and songwriter Will.i.am backing him all the way, 16-year old Donel from Southampton, was the must-see artist to watch every week on the show (alongside his dancing Grandma!). Donel recently released second his single ‘Planets,’ and is working hard in the studio on new material. He also joins Rak-Su as their support act on their first UK tour this Autumn.

An adventurous creative spirit drives the Norwegian songstress and underpins her signature sound, which confidently volleys between pop, electronic, indie, and dance stylings. Such unpredictability yielded over 200 million cumulative streams on Spotify, sold out tours, and widespread critical acclaim by everybody from Nylon to Interview within the span of a few short years.

New Rules, formed in early 2019, are made up of three songwriters and musicians - Nathan (21, London), Ryan (19, Dublin) and Alec (18, London). The dynamic pop trio have amassed over two million streams and views since their debut self-penned release ‘Call It’ in May, with various successes along the way, including their second release ‘Fix Somebody’ being featured on ITV’s prime time hit ‘Love Island’. Their debut UK & Ireland tour in the autumn of 2019 sold out, leading to additional dates in both London and Manchester.

This four piece from Watford triumphed in The X Factor 2017. They are the first male band to win the competition and they also had three of their singles top the UK iTunes chart while being on the show. ‘Dimelo’, the group’s duet with Wyclef Jean and Naughty Boy, debuted at No.2 and has now been certified silver, spending three weeks in the Top 10 of the Official UK chart.
