Get ready for an exciting event that celebrates some of our amazing members who've received an award or have been nominated to come along.
Are you ready for a red-carpet inspired afternoon of celebration? Girlguiding Celebrates is an event that honours some of our amazing members who've received a guiding award.
We’ve also invited those of you who’ve been nominated by other Girlguiding members and parents for the amazing things you've done.
This is the third time we’ve held this event. We’ve been listening to your feedback from last year to make this event even bigger and better than before! We’ll be having a big party with lots of treats, light refreshments and entertainment – think of a glamorous variety show with a Girlguiding twist!
Event details
When: Saturday 11 October 2025.
Where: ODEON Manchester Great Northern, 253 Deansgate, Manchester M3 4EN.
What’s happening: An unforgettable afternoon, including walking down the red carpet like a true VIP, a drinks reception and a special performance.
What you need to know
- We'll be sending out invitations to award achievers in March via email. Please respond by 31 March 2025.
- You can nominate someone to attend Girlguiding Celebrates as a special thank you for all they do. Nominations will open by the end of February and will close 7 April 2025.
- Official tickets will be sent via post at the end of September 2025 providing you’ve responded in time.
- If you can’t make it, please let us know by emailing events@girlguiding.org.uk. We’ll reallocate your space to other another member.

Volunteers who’ve received the following awards between January 2022 and December 2024 were invited to attend:
As well as those who were nominated to attend by other Girlguiding members in their area as a special thanks for the amazing work they do.
You’ll be invited to this year’s Girlguiding Celebrates if:
- You received a guiding award between January 2022 and December 2024 and didn't go last year.
- You were nominated by a guiding peer last year and didn’t go last year.
You’ll still need to respond you're coming by 31 March 2025.
If you can’t make it, we’ll reallocate spaces to another member so if you’ve got a ticket but can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as you can.
We're working closely with volunteers from across all countries and regions to help us to create the best event possible. We're always looking for members to tell us what they’d like to see at Girlguiding Celebrates this year. If you have something you want to suggest, please email [email protected].uk.
If you want to go the extra mile to mark this special day, we're looking for Queen's Guides who have attended any of our celebration events to help out at this year's Girlguiding Celebrates!
You'll join the team in welcoming attendees and helping to make sure everyone is having a great time. If you are interested, please contact [email protected] with your membership number and why you would like to help. The deadline for this is 11 September 2025.
We moved Girlguiding Celebrates to Manchester in North West region for 2025. It's our ambition to alternate between London and another region on alternate years because we've received lots of feedback from members who would like to see events across the UK.
We've chosen Manchester for this year's Girlguiding Celebrates as it has great transport links and we hope all our attendees will have a fantastic time.
In 2026, we'll be at London Leicester Square.
