We need a lead volunteer for growth and retention

This key role will support out work as we come out of the pandemic. Deadline 16 August, 12pm

We need a someone to help us deliver our strategy, working specifically to get new members.

This is a chance to work with us as we come out of the pandemic and get more girls and women into Girlguiding.

About the role

As part of this role you will:

  • Lead the country and region growth network.
  • Support our transformation projects and programmes.
  • Be a part of the girl experience and volunteer experience boards. 
  • Help volunteer share their thoughts on delivering Girlguiding at a local level.

Why should you apply?

You will get to be part of programme boards, project boards and groups and work with the Director of Strategy and Transformation to make sure growth and retention is considered in all transformation work. You will work with the Insight team and be the go-to volunteer on Girlguiding membership data, research and insight ad work with the Chief Guide to appoint other specialists to focus on different parts of retention and growth.

Who can apply?

We're looking for someone who understands the current demands of volunteers who has been part of a decision-making group, used data in projects, worked with stakeholders and has coordinated a group of volunteers.

Time commitment

The role will start in September 2021 and will last for three years. There is the opportunity to be invited to carry on the role for an another two years.
