Become Treasurer and Chair of Finance for Girlguiding

We’re looking for an exceptional person to join our Board of Trustees as our new Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping us to drive forward Girlguiding’s financial health, governance, and long-term sustainability. You’ll advise the Board of Trustees on all aspects of financial strategy for the Guide Association and as a member of our Trading Board, helping to shape the future of Girlguiding.

As a member of the Board, you’ll be asked to make your ideas and influence count at Board meetings and stakeholder events. We support all Trustees in their role through induction and ongoing development and engagement. In return, you’ll be helping to make a positive impact on girls, helping them to grow their skills and confidence and find their voice so that they can champion change in their own lives and in their communities.

Who we’re looking for

The right person for this role will bring deep experience of financial management and oversight, gained at leadership level. You’ll have the ability to clearly communicate and explain financial information to a range of audiences.

You'll bring commercial expertise, with an excellent understanding of good governance and the ability to appropriately challenge both the Executive and Board colleagues, using a collaborative approach and sound judgement.
