We're recruiting for a first aid specialist volunteer to help develop our first aid qualification for volunteers.
Keeping girls safe while they’re in our care is at the very heart of Girlguiding. Through this role you can play a key part.
We’re looking for someone from a first aid or medical background, who’s familiar with similar organisations’ policies and procedures around first aid training.
What's the role?
Some of what you'll do:
- Advise us on best practice around first aid training.
- Review and monitor the course materials for 1st response, our first aid training scheme.
- Stay up to date with national first aid guidance, procedures and best practice, and let Girlguiding know about updates.

How long does the role last?
The role will start in March 2025 and run until March 2026, with the possibility of extending for up to 2 more years.
