Public Liability policy statement
This policy indemnifies the Association and its members against claims made alleging negligence by Girlguiding or persons acting on Girlguiding's behalf which causes damage to third party property or injury to third parties. There is an excess of £100 in respect of third party property damage. All members of the Association can be considered third parties.
Proof of insurance is available from Girlguiding's insurance service in the form of a 'To whom it may concern' letter. The limit of indemnity is £40 million and any request for amounts above this limit should be referred to Girlguiding's insurance service.
The policy is in respect of acts by members of Girlguiding and does not cover acts of members of other organisations when participating in joint activities.
