About LTA She Rallies – further training opportunities for volunteers
LTA She Rallies is an exciting programme which aims to get more girls trying and enjoying tennis by training up volunteers like you!
LTA She Rallies' Activator training was developed by the world’s most famous tennis mum – Judy Murray. Whilst Judy is a whizz on the court, you don’t have to be – in fact you don’t need any tennis experience at all. The activities are non-technical and designed to do all the teaching for you.
In partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association, all Girlguiding leaders can access free local training courses which are centred on creating a fun environment, developing basic skills and simple activities that will get girls working together. Whilst the focus is on fun and building confidence, girls will develop useful co-ordination and movement skills which can be applied to almost every sport!
Leaders aged 14 and above can sign up to the local training. When you complete it, you can apply for a free kit bag containing loads of brilliant equipment to help you create further active and engaging sessions for your units.
To register your interest please complete this short form and someone will get back to you.
