Our General Assistants are important for the smooth running of the Centre. The day-to-day job role will be varied, allowing you to be involved in a wide range of duties in order to increase your skillset and experience!

The variety of the role differ at each centre but may include; the smooth operation and clean presentation of campsites, self-catering accommodation & Main Hall buildings, undertaking regular cleaning to all buildings, equipment and facilities and to monitor camp and self-catering equipment. General Assistants also assist in the delivery of Girlguiding’s fun and exciting events, so ensuring that customers and guests have the best experience whilst with us is vital!

Our General Assistants take pride in their work, ensuring that the customers’ needs are recognised and prioritised. They are the public face of Girlguiding, being the first point of contact for our customers. General Assistant’s create an excellent first impression for our guests and ensure that their overall visit to the Centre is as enjoyable as possible.

We are looking for individuals that have a passion for the outdoors, and that value the ethos of Girlguiding.
