The Commonwealth Award is open to older Guides and Senior Section members in all Commonwealth countries.

The badge gives you an opportunity to find out more about the history of guiding and the Commonwealth. You will also need to give at least 20 hours of service within the community and complete two clauses from a choice of eight areas covering topics such as the environment, public speaking, health, fit for life and the out of doors.

You can choose to do this award by yourself, or maybe with a group of Guides and Senior Section members. 

After you've talked it over with your Leader, let your County Commissioner know that you are working on the Award, as she will be the person who will verify that you have completed the Award.

Once you’ve completed the Award you get a metal brooch and also a certificate.
