Early in 2007, guiding magazine sent out an appeal to Senior Section members everywhere to find some budding journalists to 'take over' December's issue of guiding magazine.

Interested members were asked to write 200 words on what they really thought of guiding magazine. The guiding magazine team whittled the entries down to six and contacted the winners.

The newly formed Senior Section Take Over Team compiled a 15 page fanzine with the help of the guiding magazine team and the Girlguiding UK Design Studio. All six members came to London for a two-day workshop that taught them every aspect of putting a fanzine together, from the ideas stage right through to printing.
