Award-winning women from A to Z share a secret of success… Girlguiding UK
Welcome to Women in the Lead, a brand new and extensive survey of award-winning and inspirational UK women. This project, the first of its kind in Girlguiding UK’s history, was devised to discover how many of the UK’s leading women have been involved in guiding and what they learned during their time with the organisation.
The survey found that an amazing two thirds of award-winning women have previously been a Brownie, Guide or member of the Senior Section. Of these, 73 per cent feel that their experience of guiding directly contributed to their success.
