Hello @FIRSTNAME@,
Welcome to the summer edition of YeSS! It’s time to welcome the summer with plenty of guiding opportunities. Read on to find out more.

Volunteering opportunities

There are loads of opportunities for members to volunteer in guiding. Join a Task and Finish group and you could help shape the direction of Girlguiding UK. We currently need participants to help with World Thinking Day 2012, Youth Participation and the Brownie Programme, and new opportunities are added to the website all the time!

Think Big project grants

Think Big is a fantastic initiative offering Senior Section members the opportunity to apply for 25 grants of £300 each to finance their own community projects. Led by the National Youth Agency and funded by O2, Think Big lets young people develop and run projects, and have a positive impact on their communities.

Check out the Senior Section website for more.

Join the Advocate! panel

Girlguiding UK needs Senior Section members to join our youth panel, Advocate!. If you want to help shape our research, policy and public affairs work, work on the Girls’ Attitudes survey and get media skills then you’ll love this. The panel meets three times a year in London and applicants should be opinionated and interested in the issues affecting young women today.

Information coming soon - keep checking the Senior Section website.
