International opportunities

There are dozens of international opportunities available to Senior Section members, whether youre interested in seeing the sites, learning about other cultures or making this world a better place.

INTOPS

International opportunities (INTOPS) are open to all Senior Section members over the age of 17. Interested members attend a weekend where teamwork and skills are assessed.

Guiding Overseas Linked with Development (GOLD)

Once you have attend an International Opportunities (INTOPS) weekend, you may be selected for one of our international GOLD trips. Past trips have seen members travel to destinations such as Thailand, South Africa and Honduras.

International events

There are events and camps happening all over the world that you or your unit can apply to attend, even international camps in this country.

Raleigh international

If GOLD is not your thing, the charity Raleigh International offers expeditions in remote countries such as Nicaragua and Borneo.

Our World centres

WAGGGS owns four beautiful centres spread out across the world, one being situated in London. These centres are open to all guiding members for fantastic rates.
