Think Big
Think Big is a project with O2 and the National Youth Agency (NYA) for the benefit of young people. It is 25 grants worth £300 each to help put 25 worthy projects - created by young people - into action! What does Think Big think about young people? Young people are often unfairly portrayed by the media and stereotyped as 'hoodie wearers' and 'thugs'. We at Think Big on the other hand think they're far more thoughtful, engaged and positive. They're aware of the issues around them and have strong opinions on how to make things better, but have trouble making themselves heard. What is the purpose of Think Big? We want to give young people the chance to express their opinions, to show their creativity and to play a positive role in their local community and society at large. We want to shake off the negative perceptions of young people - and getting everyone talking about their enthusiasm and talent instead. |
What could my Think Big project be about? There are six broad project categories available, so you should be able to find a category for any idea. |
