Do you know your C# from your treble clef?

French HornHave you heard about the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra (NSGSO)? Some say it's the best kept secret in guiding and scouting.

The orchestra are running a week long residential course for interested members in August this year.

Although the application deadline has passed, the orchestra are short of violin, double bass, french horn and tuba players. There are still vacancies for other players as well.

Participants must be:

  • Scouts or Guides.
  • 13 to 25 years of age.
  • Proficient players of orchestral instruments (min. Grade 5).

This one week residential course with full board will be held from Sunday 2 August 9 August at a cost of 350.00. You can find out more about the course by visiting the NSGSO website
