May 2009

This month has been a quiet month for me yet a month of good news. I went for an interview for a new job in the middle of month. I am pleased to say I got the job! I start my new role on the 1 June. I will still be working for the same company as a Web Editor, but it is nice to have job security! I will let you know how my first day goes next month. I have also been very busy sorting out the house myself and Martin was living in. Unfortunately we had to keep the house until the end of our contract which is 1 July. So I have still been paying rent, which I wasnt best pleased about.

At the beginning of the month I decided it was time for a much needed break in the sun! So I have booked a holiday to Bulgaria for a week of sun, sea and sand with the girls! We fly out to Burgas, Bulgaria on the 8 July and I am so excited! As you can imagine this means I have been busy shopping buying some much needed new summer clothes! Rangers take a break from painting

In my guiding life, I took my Senior Section girls to our local guiding centre during the last week of May. As part of their community action the re-decorated the dormitory and it now has a guiding theme. Staff members of the Luton Disney store also came along to help for part of their volunt-ear hours. Everyone worked really well and we managed to get all the painting done in three days! I am also considering starting my DofE Gold award, but we shall see.
