March 2009

March has been a very quiet yet painful month for me. At the beginning of the month I had my big toenail removed, yuck! It wasnt at all pleasant or pain free - even though the Doctor reassured me it would be! We also had a very special birthday in the family this month. Mine and Martins puppy, Buster, was one year old! My sister helped me to make lots of yummy cakes for the occasion. We also played pass-the-parcel and pin the tail on Buster.

In my guiding life, I attended a Region PRA and Centenary Champions training day. I enjoyed the training and it was useful finding out what other Counties are planning for the Centenary. At Rangers we have been busy planning a trip to the capital, London! During the Easter holidays we will be heading to London to embark on a great adventure, but you will have to wait till next month to find out how it all went.

Oh, how could I forget? My boyfriend has just heard he has secured full time employment in the Parks department at the local Council. This means I can get another puppy and decorate my house, eeek!
