Happy belated Thinking Day!

The beginning of the month bought lots of snow! It was fun and I worked from home the whole week. My puppy Buster loved playing in the snow and even helped me to build a snowman in my back garden, however I did have to watch out for yellow snow! I have also been caught up in the Twilight books and have not been able to put them down. I am currently three quarters of the way through New Moon. I have Eclipse at home (Martin bought me New Moon and Eclipse for Valentines Day) ready to start next and have just ordered Breaking Dawn off of Amazon.

Guiding wise this month has been very exciting. On the 12th I attended the Queens Guide reception at St Jamess Palace after completing the award in October 2008. The day was amazing and I especially liked the royal waiters who were offering us canaps and beverages throughout the afternoon. I even got the chance to talk to the Countess herself, she was very pleasant and showed an interest in what I am currently doing at the moment. She was pleased to see so many young women achieving such a prestigious award. The afternoon at the Palace was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I fully enjoyed myself the atmosphere was something I wont forget, however I was disappointed I did not get an individual photo with the Countess. I also heard this month that I have a place at Innovate Hellidon and I am very excited! I have attended three Innovates before however I am sure this one will be even better. The Rangers performed there version of Hairspray Welcome to the 60s at our Thinking Day service as Luton South Division look towards 100. The girls got a huge round of applause and I was very proud of them. We could see one or two of them in Hollywood in the near future, maybe?

In a non-guiding world we had the estate agent come to our house to do an inspection on the property. It all went well and she was happy with the homely atmosphere myself and Martin have created. Ohhh and very exciting news we may be getting another puppy! Eeeek.
