My blog for April is very short...

I can't remember most of April because it's been taken up with Wedding bits and pieces, lots of losing weight, and dieting (which was horrid but did the trick) and trying on my dress, making order of service sheets, playing with the church organ, fake flower arranging, cooking, cleaning and a little bit of Guiding!

I've become very hyper this last month in the build up to the day, BTW it's the 21st May 2009. Filling all hours of the day with seemingly useless tasks designed to make this wedding day work, and give our marriage a good start!

We had a bit of stress with our church, our vicar left and suddenly all the costs doubled and we went from a free wedding to having to give 160 up front for the day. :( we sold some stuff on eBay which has helped us meet the costs, so I guess it's a little like fundraising! We have also had some lovely support from allsorts of people, sending us cheques at just the right time, and I will thank them forever.

I also met a friend who I last saw in Gibraltar when I was 12. Her name is Lily and she was a great friend of mine while I was living out there, and also her sister Laura. We met up at a friends birthday BBQ and bumped into each other on the trampoline. It was a very strange night! We are now in contact again, and she's living in Plymouth until August which means we have some time to have fun together and start our friendship up again.

I'll be honest though, this blog isn't very exciting, what with me waffling on about our wedding....next month will be so much cooler, 'cos it'll have the wedding, AND the honeymoon!
