RangersRangers meet in units to plan and carry out activities from as many of the Senior Section programme opportunities as they want.

Young Leaders
are aged 14 to 18 and work with
a Rainbow, Brownie or Guide
unit. They might be working
towards their Young Leader
Qualification or the adult
Leadership scheme, as well as
participating in other Senior
Section opportunities. They are
supported by a Young Leader
Leader and link with other
members of the Senior Section
when they choose.

Young adult Leaders are aged 18
to 26 and are working towards or
have completed their adult
Leadership Qualification. They
work with Rainbow, Brownie,
Guide or Senior Section units.
They are supported by their
appropriate Commissioner and can
take part in Senior Section
opportunities when they choose.

Lone Senior Section members
work with Rainbow, Brownie,
Guide or Senior Section units.
They are supported by their
District Commissioner and can
take part in Senior Section
opportunities when they choose.
Lone Senior Section members work
on part of the Senior Section
programme but are not part of a
unit or Look Wider group. They
are supported by their District
team. In4mers have
undergone the Basic or Refresher
training and use peer education
skills.
Girlguiding UK members currently studying at college or university can be part of
the Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO). There are groups at many universities in the UK, or you can be a lone member if there is no group at your place of higher education. Visit the

and
Trefoil Guild members under the age of 26 can choose to participate in any of the Senior Section opportunities available.
