I'm an In4mer!
What does your role involve? To become an In4mer I
attended a basic training
weekend, where we did lots of
fun activities and games as well
as learning about all the things
that we could do with 4. Since
then I have lead about four
sessions each year, but you can
do as many as you want! I have
done sessions with my own Ranger
unit, with a local guide unit,
at a region Senior Section
event, and with a local
after-school clubs. My initial
training covered the topics of
Refugees and Self Esteem, but
since then I've also done
sessions on poverty,
international issues, mental
health and sexual health. What do you love most about guiding?I love being part of something huge, meeting lots of new people and taking part in lots of new activities. What guiding achievement are you most proud of?I am proud of lots of guiding achievements! There are so many things I have achieved that it would be difficult to pick just one. What would you say to someone who is thinking about becoming a Senior Section member and taking on your role?Being an In4mer is amazing!
You can learn a lot about the
world we live in, pass on this
knowledge to others, build your
confidence and most importantly
have lots of fun! |
