Centenary Fund grant
The Centenary Fund is open to applications from girls and young
women (aged 5 to 25) who want to make a dream come true.
The Centenary Fund will change priorities from
time to time. In 2011 the priority is to fund visits to a World
Centre, international visits involving members from another WAGGGS
member organisation or UK events involving members of WAGGGS.
More information can be found in our guidance
notes.
If you have a project you’d like to receive a
grant for, please read the guidance notes fully and then
complete the simple application form, get a local commissioner
to lend their support and then send the form back to
the Membership Support Services at Girlguiding UK.
Funding decisions will be made by a panel of
volunteers which will include at least one person under
25. Their decisions are final.
Grants must be spent within 12 months of
receiving the funding.
On completion of your project, you will need to complete a
simple monitoring form to let us know how the money was
spent.
