Girlguiding UK wins industry award for online Centenary Impact Report

On Wednesday 23 November Girlguiding UK won ‘Best Corporate
Publication’ for its digital Impact Report 2011 at the CorpComm
Awards 2011. In the process, Girlguiding UK beat nominees including
WWF-UK, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the London Business
School.
Donna Holland, Girlguiding UK's Fundraising and Marketing
Manager, says, ‘Our interactive and engaging impact report was able
to show all the incredible work our volunteers put in to
celebrating our Centenary year. This prestigious award is a truly
wonderful way to round off what has been a huge 2010 for
Girlguiding UK.’
The
CorpComm Awards are presented annually to organisations
that stand out in communicating their messages to their
audiences. Organisations that made this year’s shortlist for
various awards include the BBC, St John Ambulance, Barclays, LOCOG,
Aviva, O2, McDonald’s, City & Guilds, the RAC, Action for
Children, Debenhams, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Orange, Pfizer, and
Gatwick Airport.
