Fame Academy finalist Sinead Quinn will be our travelling judge for the regional and national finals of the Guiding Star competition.
Sinead is more than qualified to become a judge- after all, she endured critical judging at the hands of the vicious Fame Academy judges in its first series. She always sings live (which is more than some of your favourite artists) and can normally be found backstage at gigs leading an impromptu jamming sesh! But the best thing about Sinead is that she loves all different types of music, so it doesn't matter if you are singing a traditional folk song, or bopping to Girls Aloud- she'll love it all!
Sinead's popularity started when she became the only member of the original Fame Academy not to be preselected but to be voted in by the viewers. Her popularity continued throughout the series and she went on to beat fellow BIG GIG favourite Lemar to a place in the final. Sinead came a close second, and her debut single 'I Can't Breakdown' was only kept off by the top spot by Tatu's massive debut 'All The Things She Said'. She has been away from the limelight for a few years but now she is back, wanting to judge your musical abilities.
