Holiday
Do all of the following clauses.
To complete this badge, your stay must last at least two
nights.
1. Join in the planning of a Guide holiday. With the rest
of the group going away, discuss:
• what you all want to get out of the holiday
• the area where you would like to stay and possible venues
• how long you will go for.
2. Plan and agree:
• a suitable venue for the holiday (a member of the local Outdoor
Activities Team must approve this)
• a programme for the holiday, including activities and places to
visit
• duties and responsibilities for all group members.
3. Know what to do in case of fire in the venue.
4. Be able to use simple first aid for treating cuts,
stings, bruises and minor burns.
5. Take an active part in the holiday and fulfil duties and
responsibilities as agreed.
