...only to find that we were still on the ground.
The alien was humming with his eyes closed and seemed to think we were riding through space. I shook him and he opened one of his three eyes and glared at me.
"What do you want?" the metallic voice rang out.
"Sir, I don't know if you've noticed, but..."
"WHAAAAAT IS IT?!?!?!"
"We're still on the ground..."
"No, we're on a parallel planet. If you look out of the window, you'll see that it's very different here!"
I looked out the window. To my surprise, there was the strangest sight I had ever seen...
