From Me in Mind
Blast off!
You will need:
A large piece of paper
Pens
Sticky notes
What to do:
On a large piece of paper draw a big rocket.
Ask each participant to draw a picture or write a sentence on a
sticky note to explain one of their dreams, hopes or aspirations and
stick it to the rocket. Each individual must then explain what they
have drawn or written to the rest of the group. The group could give
guidance on how that person would achieve their goal.

Just the job
Career girls - get a copy of the job pages form local or national
newspapers. Look at the different adverts for jobs. What sort of
person/skills are they looking for? What are the most common
requirements- enthusiasm, forward thinking etc? Have you got the
skills you needed for any jobs? How could you learn these things?
Which members of your patrol have the skills that would help them to
get a job? Match their skills to a job advertised in the paper.
Would they be interested in the job you find them

Play your future
Come up with an imaginative story about your patrol in the future and act it out - on film!
You will need:
Props and costumes
Video Camera (optional)
Imagination
We see and hear all kinds of stories about different characters on film and television. Have a go with your Patrol at making up, acting out and filming your own short film or TV show.
Each Guide in the patrol should pick a role they would like to have in the future. For example, be a marine biologist, a teacher, a politician or a lion tamer! What story can you tell that includes all of the characters that you pick? Perform the story for your unit. You could take this one step further and film your story for others to watch!
