Elastic Beading

Make an elastic beaded bracelet for you or a friend. You can choose the size, shape, and colours, and make it as elegant or fun as you like.

What do I need?

You need:

  • 20 Wooden Disc Beige
  • 5 Round Chequered Bead
  • 40 Circular Wooden Beads Dark Chocolate
  • 1 Elasticity Clear Elastic Bead Cord
  • 1 Jewellery Glue 40ml
  • scissors
  • paper clip

What do I do?

Cut two pieces of 30cm elastic. Attach a paper clip onto one end of the elastic cords to keep the beads from sliding off. It will also keep the two sides of cord from shifting while you are threading the cord through the beads.

String 1 Round Chequered Bead onto the elastic cord strands, separate the strands and string 1 Wooden Disc Beige 4 Circular Wooden Beads Dark Chocolate and 1 Wooden Disc Beige. Repeat the step for the other elastic cord strand.

String 1 Round Chequered Bead on both strands together.

Separate the strands again and repeat steps 2 and 3, 3 times finishing with 1 Wooden Disc Beige in each elastic cord strand.

Remove the paper clip and tie both sets of ends together. Your bracelet is finished. Dab some glue on the knot and pull it carefully inside of the ball beads and allow the glue to dry before wearing your new bracelet.
