A group of past
GOLD participants have created a fundraising team to organise
events and initiatives to generate income for the GOLD Bursary
Fund.
What is GOLD?
GOLD (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development) allows
Girlguiding UK members aged between 18 and 30 to take part in
community development projects overseas. You can find out more

Why donate to the GOLD Bursary Fund?
The GOLD Bursary Fund is used in the following ways:
- to provide a carer at INTOPS and on a GOLD project for those
with special needs if required
- to buy specialist equipment to enable a young member to
participate in a GOLD project
- offering grants to those who have been offered a place on a
GOLD project who live in a socially- and economically-deprived
area.
To make sure that we can continue to support future INTOPS and
GOLD participants, we must ensure that there is a continued income
generated for the GOLD Bursary Fund.
The GOLD bursary team are always looking for more support in the
form of donations or volunteers to help organise events.You can
